Langham Place Bali

First luxury property in Asia for the hospitality group.

Hong Kong-based hotel company, Langham Hospitality Group, has signed an agreement with PJM Group & partners (PT. Pilar Prambanan Investama) to manage a new resort in Bali.

Langham Place Bali, scheduled to open in 2017, is perched atop a cliff on the island’s famed Ungasan-Uluwatu area in the island’s southern peninsula.

The 173-room resort will be Langham’s first luxury property in Asia under its Langham Hotels & Resorts collection.

All 173 rooms, suites and villas, ranging from 50 to 276 square metres (538 – 2971 square feet), will have outdoor terraces where guests can take advantage of Bali’s year-round tropical climate and enjoy the panoramic ocean views. All 56 villas and suites will have their own private plunge pools.

The resort will have its own private wedding chapel, a bridal room, a 400-square metre (4,306 square feet) outdoor event lawn, and two ballrooms that are up to 500 square metres (5,382 square feet) in size.

The Chuan Spa will have treatment rooms and a whirlpool, offering therapies based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Catering to family holiday makers, there will also be a dedicated pool and deck, club and an outdoor playground area just for children.

The pristine Pandawa beach, just seven minutes away from the resort, is accessible to guests. The famed Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali’s most important cultural landmarks, is a 30-minute drive from the resort while Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport is just 40 minutes away.
