First hotel for New World Hotels & Resorts in Indonesia.
New World Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by Jakarta-based PT. Mugie Bali Indah to manage a new resort – New World Grand Bali Resort – in Bali.
Scheduled to open in 2017, this will be the first property for the hotel chain in Indonesia. It is only a15-minute drive from Uluwatu Temple and 30 minutes’ drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
The resort will be set on 10.8 hectares in part of the Pecatu Indah Resort development located on the southern Bukit Peninsula. It will be built following the site’s natural slope, which is 156 metres above sea level at its highest point. Its cascading topography will afford ocean views for all the accommodations.
There will be 328 guestrooms, with the suites and grand suites featuring individual decks and plunge pools. Recreational facilities will include a swimming pool with 1,580 square metre viewing deck overlooking the Bali Strait and coastline, a spa, fitness centre, the New Kuta Golf Course in the Pecatu Indah compound, and access to a nearby secluded, cliff-encircled beach.
New World Grand Bali Resort will also feature four restaurants, a rooftop lounge, and a wedding chapel. Meeting space will include a 1,000 square metre ballroom and four meeting rooms.
