Starwood expands footprint in Indonesia’s capital city with new property.
Starwood Hotels and Resorts has opened the 293-key Sheraton Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, the second Sheraton-branded property to open in Jakarta. It is located five kilometres away from the emerging commercial hub of South Jakarta and 32 kilometres from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The hotel is part of the Superblock Gandaria City mixed-use complex that also includes a retail shopping mall, convention and exhibition facilities, a helipad, and an extensive dining street.
The hotel’s 293 guestrooms and suites offer views over the surrounding cityscape. The Sheraton Club rooms have access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, which offers complimentary breakfast and all-day refreshments.
Facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre, outdoor pool, complimentary wireless high speed Internet access. There is a choice of F&B options that include an all-day dining restaurant serving international cuisine and local delicacies, and Café Grande.
The new hotel is also able to accommodate large meetings and conventions, offering 3,567 square metres of function space that are complemented by state-of-the-art technology and a business centre.
