Experience staying in a Javanese traditional home at Villa Borobudur

Unique setting on the slope of the Menoreh mountains overlooking Borobudur Temple.

Villa Borobudur is set in a large and private garden with breath-taking views of the Borobudur Temple and its surroundings. It consists of seven hand-carved teak wooden joglos (wooden bungalows).

The two large joglos – Joglo Tutup and Joglo Buka – have authentic Indonesian living rooms with comfortable benches and chairs, several dining areas, and lounge beds.

The other five joglos are double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and offers extensive views of the Borobudur Temple, Mount Sumbing, and the surrounding villages and ricefields.

Staying at Villa Borobudur is like living in a Javanese home set in pristine natural surroundings with amazing views. The local staff cooks special Indonesian food for the guests, as well as attend to their personal preferences.
