Montigo Resort Seminyak, opens in Bali

The first property in Bali for the hotel group.

Montigo Resort Seminyak in Bali soft opened on 8 October 2015.

This is the first Montigo Resort to open on the island, and is the second property under the Montigo Resorts brand in Indonesia after Montigo Resort Nongsa in Batam.

Formerly Semara Resort & Spa, Seminyak, the property was taken over by KOP Limited, a Catalist-listed company with property, hospitality and entertainment business divisions, and transformed it into a Montigo resort.

Built on a site of over 10,000 square metres, the resort is located in the heart of the Seminyak district and is within a stone’s throw from the island’s most popular upscale restaurants, beach clubs and fashionable boutiques.

The 108 rooms and suites are refurbished to reflect a comfortable, contemporary design, and adorned with fun, quintessentially Montigo elements.

Eight specially designed spa accommodations complement the Montigo Spa that offers a three-part water-based ritual comprising a Balinese bath, an aquatonic pool, and a Japanese roten-buro.

Facing the main thoroughfare of Seminyak and with direct access from Jalan Petitenget is Tiigo, the all-day-dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of cuisines prepared from live cooking stations. The Pool Bar will open in 2016.

Other facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, a poolside cocktail lounge bar, OLO Kid’s Club, and an activities and excursions concierge.
