New villas for Plataran Borobudur, rebranding of Bali resort to Plataran Canggu Bali Resort & Spa
Plataran Borobudur, a boutique resort, located on the hills of Tanjungan Village, Magelang in Central Java, is just five minutes from Borobudur Temple offering amazing views of the temple, Mount Merapi, Menoreh Hills and the surrounding lush teak forests. It is a one-and-a-half hour drive from Jogjakarta International Airport.
It is this strategic location that makes the resort a popular choice for tourists visiting this amazing 9th century Mahayana Buddhist Temple.
Due to the strong demand the owners of Plataran Borobudur, which is part of Plataran Hotels & Resorts Indonesia, have decided to add eight more villas to the resort.
The new villas are located on the west side of the Patio Restaurant, and are currently under construction. When completed on 15 June 2014, Plataran Borobudur will have a total of 21 villas.
To ensure the least disturbance to guests during the construction period the resort’s management is taking steps to reduce the noise level. Work is carried out only from 9am to 5pm when most guests are usually out on tours or taking part in activities outside of the resort. Guests who remain at the resort during this period are assured the ongoing work will not disturb their relaxation or their comfort.
In Bali, the renovations and refurbishments of the former Plataran Bali Resort and Spa were completed on 8 April 2014. The resort has been rebranded as Plataran Canggu Bali Resort & Spa.
