The new services commencing this summer will enhance connectivity to Indonesia.
Qatar Airways will increase flight frequencies to Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital city, and Denpasar in Bali, as part of its strategy to grow the Indonesian market.
From 5 July 2015, the airline will add three more weekly flights (Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays) to Jakarta, in addition to its existing 18 weekly flights. The new frequencies will increase the number of weekly flights to the Indonesian capital city to 21, making it a thrice-daily service.
For Denpasar, Qatar Airways will commence a full twice-daily service from 16 July, giving a total of 14 flights a week to this popular tourist destination.
Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways’ Group Chief Executive, said the airline was committed to growing the Indonesian market.
”With our enhanced flight schedules, superior in-flight product and the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, we continue to offer our passengers an exceptional five-star service throughout their entire travel experience,” he added.
