The strategically located hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers.

Archipelago International has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Kalimantan with the opening of the Quest Hotel Balikpapan.

The 79-room Quest Hotel Balikpapan is just 10 minutes from the international airport. It is located on Jalan Jendral Sudirman, right inside Balikpapan’s Superblok shopping and entertainment district, which is within walking distance to E-Walk, the biggest shopping mall in Balikpapan, and the city centre.

Rooms and suites at Quest Hotel Balikpapan are equipped with an LED flat-screen TV with satellite channels, self-controlled air conditioning, complimentary WiFi, a working desk, standing shower, safety box, hair dryer, mini bar, slippers, coffee- & tea-making facilities, and select bathroom amenities.

The hotel also features a spa and collection of meeting rooms capable of accommodating up to 175 guests.

Balikpapan is a seaport city in the province of East Kalimantan, and has a number of pristine beaches including Manggar Beach, Segara Beach, Monument Beach and Melawai Beach. The city also serves as a base for nature tourism with the Samboja Lestari orang utan conservation centre, the Sun Bear sanctuary, and the crocodile breeding park nearby.
