West Bali government completes beach erosion prevention project

Visitors can enjoy the beach free from erosion.

The Bali provincial government’s beach erosion protection project on the west coast of Bali, including Yeh Gangga, has finished and the wall has been built.

Yeh Gangga Beach is about nine kilometres west of Tanah Lot on the coast, and stretches for miles. The high waves here make it perfect for surfing, and the sunset is breathtaking. As this area does not have as many visitors as the more popular Kuta, Legian or Seminyak visitors will have the beach to themselves.

Yeh Gangga is also used as a base to discover the surrounding villages of Kerambitan and Pejaten, and is also within easy driving distance of Marga, Sangeh, Mengwi and Tanah Lot.
